? 1. Who are we?

Zoii Asia is a registered private limited company in Singapore and ECHO RE’s exclusive TPA service provider in Asia.

? 3. What is Zoii+?

Zoii+ is a standalone product for selected critical illnesses. It provides complimentary travel and accommodation arrangements for the Insured seeking overseas medical treatment; it’s also coming with a lump sum rider policy in case they get diagnosed with a critical illness such as cancer, heart attack, paralysis, kidney failure, etc.

? 2. What do we do?

We design, develop and service Zoii’s own Selected Critical Illness insurance products under the brand name Zoii+.

? 4. Who do we serve?

We serve the middle-income population in Asia, providing access to world-class medical care through customized and convenient-to-use medical insurance products.

BENEFITS

? 5. What benefits do I get from Zoii critical illness Product?

We cover the medical treatment for you in your home country and overseas, including the provision of cashless services within ZOII ’s medical network, guaranteed product renewal, and daily hospital indemnity for each night of in-patient stay.

? 7. Why must I disclose Pre-existing conditions?

Because if you do not disclose your pre-existing conditions truthfully the insurer and reinsurer can decline your claim.

? 9. Can I buy Zoii critical illness insurance for my family?

Yes, please contact your agent or your insurance company.

? 11. At what age can my dependents buy? (Check Product Terms)

For Zoii + products the entry age should be older than 30 days old to 70 years.

? 6. What is not covered (exclusions) for the Insured (and dependent/s)?

? 8. Who will pay for my medical treatment?

Zoii will pay for all medical treatment if Zoii arranges and approve it.

? 10. What is the difference between Critical Illness Insurance's waiting and survival periods?

The waiting period is 180 days after buying a Critical Illness Insurance Policy. During this period, you cannot raise any claims. On the other hand, the survival period refers to the period after diagnosis that the insured has to survive before receiving the benefits. The survival period usually takes 30 days and is effective immediately after the Waiting Period.

? 12. For how long can I buy Zoii Critical Illness products?

You can buy up to 75 years of age.

Medical Concierge Services (MediTreatment)

? 13. What is Zoii+ Medical Concierge Service?

A complimentary service that supports the Insured for both Home-country & Overseas Medical Treatment Services. MCS is provided on a complimentary basis to the Insured and recognized under Zoii+ as: - i. Medical Treatment – Medi ii. Medical Travel – Medi

? 15. Before traveling, how can I be sure there is a suitable treatment for me?

We ensure that you will receive medical treatment from the most appropriate medical facility and medical specialist before you travel.

? 17. Can I get reimbursement for pre-claims medical expenses?

Yes, you can get reimbursement if the CAF you have submitted is approved with the same condition.

? 14. Where can I receive treatment?

You can receive medical treatment within Zoii’s medical network according to your plan type purchase.

? 16. Am I covered if I need medical treatment following dangerous sports accidents?

No, please refer to Appendix 2a Product Terms and Conditions Exclusions for the list of dangerous sports activities.

? 18. Can I be admitted to a hospital in my home country?

Under our Zoii plan, Zoii will only pay lump sum benefits for Heart Attacks and Strokes when you are admitted to a hospital in your home country.

Medical Concierge Service (MediTravel)

? 19. What should I prepare for traveling abroad?

You will be given a detailed itinerary for your travel. We will inform you of any other preparations if needed.

? 21. I don’t speak English at all. Will this be a problem?

We have overseas agencies (TPA) to assist you with any language problems.

? 23. If my child needs medical treatment can my spouse and I accompany them?

Yes, both parents can accompany them.

? 20. What is the maximum number of trips I can take for medical treatment?

According to your plan type per lifetime.

? 22. Can I bring someone with me?

Zoii allows one accompanying person per overseas medical travel; that could be your legal spouse, the civil partner, or the immediate family member who lives with you, who can make the necessary medical decision/s on your behalf.

 

CLAIM

? 24. Where do I file a claim for my Critical Illness?

A claim must be made on a ZOII Claims Activation Form (CAF), which can be downloaded from our website www.zoii.asia, or made available from ZOII’s home office.

? 26. What do I need to do when filing claims?

We request that each CAF be accompanied by the appropriate and relevant documents such as a medical summary, medical imaging, and laboratory reports for ZOII to process a Claim. We recommend that you provide all the necessary documents for faster transactions.

? 28. How do I get notified about my claim?

All notices for the Claims Application Process may be by mobile call, social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Line, or Viber, and letter by email or post, signed by the authorized representative of Reinsurer/ZOII.

? 25. Is there a deadline for submitting a claim?

No, all claims must be submitted within 60 days of a diagnosis. (Check on Product Terms and Condition) No deadline but diagnosis and laboratory tests are valid only for 3 months.

? 27. What happens after my claim was submitted?

After receiving the duly filled claim form and documents, Zoii will verify and validate your information and request any additional medical information (if necessary).

? 29. How long does it take to process the CAF?

Once all necessary documents and duly filled CAF were submitted the process will usually take 3-7 working days.
